My Vision/Dreams
I've always thought about my future and what I want to do with my life. Some goals seem attainable and some don't, so I've always call them "my dreams." Winning the lottery or marrying a rich guy is definitely part of my dreams. But since we are only talking about attainable goals, then I'll just talk about my vision of my future. I'm trying to finish college sooner so I can go on with my MBA, so hopefully in 4 years or so, I will graduate from graduate school (hopefully Columbia), and become an investment banker. And I've recently started working for Chase, with the intention to get my "key" to JP Morgan and build up my experience, I also want promotions as well as large social network. By the time I have my MBA, I would like to see myself in a large office instead of a cubicle. Then of course with my personal life, I would like a closet as big as the one shown in the penthouse from the Sex in the City movie. It would be even better if I live in a penthouse. And that big closet must be filled with every luxury designer brands out there. I am definitely getting a white pomerania puppy, maybe two. These goals aren't that hard to achieve right? haha We shall see~!

I like your goal of joining Columbia, I am sure once you graduate from Columbia, you will not have to look for the key to enter JP Morgan but the key will come looking for you. I would have liked to hear what plans you have to finance you degree in columbia. I am sure you are already working on that. We all know that it cost alot to get into Columbia. Keep those dreams alive and work on the actions that will enable you to attain those dreams.
ReplyDeleteWait.."JP " stands for Jessica Parker? or JP morgan chase?. I think be both are right for you. I think marrying a rich guy seems easy for young and attractive women and i think you are one of them. In addition, i think you have to ensure that you are happy too. Getting a Master Degree i think you have a better chance to get a good job. And soon you can buy a penthouse and have a big closet with lots of shoes inside.
ReplyDeleteEveryone has a dream and i think dreams would not be a reality if we don't take any actions. On the other hand, Vision is different than dreams because with visions you must have a goal just like an essay
has a thesist statement...Good luck !
"Winning the lottery and marrying a rich guy"... ahaha - I would love that too! lol =]
ReplyDeleteI admire that you want to finish college so quickly and get your MBA from Columbia. It's good that you have an idea of a deadline for this goal too, and I'm sure you can do it. Like "Management in Motion" said, opportunities will be coming to you, especially with how huge your academic ambitions are; I love your academic spirit.
Keep the image of a large office and a large closet, like the one in the Sex in the City movie, in mind and perhaps as your personal vision plan of the future. These visions can be your driving force in achieving all your personal and career goals of the future.
I wish you good luck on working your way up Chase and with your promotion. If the large closet full of all designer items and 2 pomeranians will be the driving force for you to further better yourself and bring you closer to your visions then more power to you, but then again why stop there, a butler/maid would be nice too and they could take care of the pomeranians when your busy, lol.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a focused vision and you have a game plan in action to bring you there. Good luck at Chase and I really hope you get that closet...every lady dreams about that closet I think!
ReplyDeleteCool, you and I have similar goals. I also work at Chase and I was well want to get my Masters. We can do it! Just gotta work hard at it and well be alright. One day well move from our cubicles and be one of the people with our own office!
